i stopped finishing books.
now i pull the blanket up first, and the book is really just the excuse to sit still under it.
some nights i read four pages and set it down, and the page stays open next to me like it doesn't mind.
nothing here needs to get finished. i just wanted somewhere soft to be for a while.
