I started rinsing the sink out before bed, and now the first thing I see in the morning is proof that someone was looking out for me.
It's two minutes at night. Usually less. I do it while the last of the tea cools.
And the morning starts without a small debt waiting in it. Nothing to clear before I've even begun.
It's proof that someone was looking out for me. It's only ever me, and that still counts.
