I started eating breakfast at the table instead of standing over the counter, and it added maybe six minutes to my morning and gave me back something I can't name.
Six extra minutes. Sitting down. I timed it once because I was sure it had to be more.
Standing over the counter felt like an errand. Something to get through on the way to the real day.
Sitting turned it into a meal. Same food, same morning, and somehow I arrive at the rest of the day already there.
